Standard drawers:
Pricing and description is per drawer/door.
For the price you have been quoted on standard drawers you will receive:
– Fitted on ballbearing runners baring 35kg per drawer
– Timber studwork removal ‘if required’.
– One coat of primer on the outer panels
– Added trims
– Filling and caulking ready for decor
– finishing panels if required approximately up to 450mm wide.
Extras added on request:
– Fronts top coat painting : £70.00 per drawer/door panel
– internally painted white satin : £100.00 per drawer
– Feature finishes such as Shaker, Victorian or Old English : £120.00 per section.
– Pocket door in replace of finishing panel from 300mm wide up to approximately 450mm wide : £45.00
– Size upgrades – 100mm to the back : £40.00 per drawer / 200mm to the back : £60.00 per drawer.
– end panel support undercoated : £65.00 Top coat on request : £70.00
IMPORTANT – If a wall needs to be removed before the installation, please confirm in advance.
If the wall is block/brick or timber stud work & plasterboard. Timber stud work removal is free, however block or brickwork has to be removed prior to the installation by the client.
Drawers are built 530mm (53cm) ‘internal sizes’, wide. Front panels are approximately 570mm (57cm) wide. Drawers can be made smaller only on the recommendation of PI. Drawers are built 600mm (60cm) deep into the stairs toward the supporting wall (extensions are available see pricing above) and a maximum of 2m tall.
Doors – are built to a maximum of 600mm wide.
The drawers are made from a selection of different sized medium-density fibreboards, adhesives and screw fixings and doors are made up of a moisture resistant medium-density fibreboard.
The work will/should take approximately a day per section. If somebody is required to supervise at home while the work is being carried out, please ensure you assign your time to do so. Should you wish PI to not be on-site being unsupervised and prefer PI to leave site for the duration any supervisor not being on site for any period of the day, this will be chargeable at a rate of £30per hour including travel time too and from site. Hours of work are from 9am to 6pm.
PI reserve the right to decide the size of any top shelves which may result in the sizes being adequate for the size of the opening. PI will ensure the sizes decided will be to maximum usage however this is gauged on stair size and pitch.
PI reserve the right to own all materials until the invoice payment is cleared in full.
All areas need to be clear of pipes, electrical cables and electrical fuse boxes, underfloor heating controls. An area of around 3m x 3m will be required to work and make cuts, preferably outdoors.
The site will be kept clean on a daily basis however PI do not remove any unwanted materials after the job is complete. PI will however, cut materials up so it is manageable for you to load and dump. Smaller items will be bagged.
All prices include VAT and under full 2 year warranty.
Deposit / Prepayment:
No deposit is necessary however should you need to cancel, please ensure to offer as much notice as possible so PI can rearrange schedule. Please also ensure to do your best to communicate at all stages of the project. Although PI will do the upmost best to contact you on many occasions and on different contacts you have supplied, failure to communicate at the beginning stages of a project may result on project being rescheduled, should I fail to contact you on the second attempt on a different date given, this may result on the project being cancelled. If you then would want to reschedule, I would request a deposit of 30% to cover any admin and booking fees.
Payments:
You will be invoiced the day prior to completion and the evening before for single drawers via email and text. Payment is not due on receipt of invoice, it’s is due on completion of works. Payment is to be made via bank transfer or card. Cheques and cash are NOT accepted.
Vehicles:
Please respectfully inform all neighbours about my start date when notified. Please ensure your vehicle(s) are out of reach of dust. Although the dust is minimised and not toxic to a vehicle’s paintwork, it can be frustrating for some realising they have not been informed works are being carried out. PI do not take responsibility for any vehicles that have unwanted dust on them.
